Role : Agile/Scrum Master Location : Sacramento,CA JOB DESCRIPTION : Responsibilities:

• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices.
• Helping the product owner and development team to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization.
• Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments.
• Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework.
• Resolve conflicts and issues that occur.
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed.
• Conduct and lead all Scrum ceremonies including standup, user story refinement, sprint planning, sprint demonstration and retrospectives.
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria from a user's perspective.
• Work with the Product Owner to document the business case for User Stories.
• Present to executive leadership for Sprint playback.
• Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops acceptance criteria for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
• Documents User Stories in JIRA works with Product Owner to finalize acceptance criteria.
• Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.
• Identifies opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
• Work as a bridge between the user and developer for requirements and clarifications. Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least three (3) years' experience leading scrum teams.
  • Experience with JIRA required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience defining acceptance criteria with technical teams.
  • Results oriented with demonstrated skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and present results neatly, with clarity and precision in oral and written form.
  • Ability to work semi-autonomously in a fast-paced environment with strong work ethic.
  • A positive attitude with good communication skills and strong reasoning skills.
  • Experience with communicating with technical resources and business resources alongside the ability to translate technical into business case.
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict.
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum.
  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not.
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques.
