Job Description:
Description Responsible for decontamination, cleaning,
processing and sterilizing of re-usable instruments and trays use
hospital-wide. Pulls instruments and supplies for OR case carts.
Demonstrates a clear understanding of decontamination procedures
and risk of cross contamination, aseptic technique, sterilization
methods and sterility assurance. Is aware of the importance of
strict attention to detail in all areas including but not limited
to the functionality of all instrumentation. Providence caregivers

them. Required Qualifications: - Within 1 year of hire: National
Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare
Sterile Processing Association or - Within 1 year of hire: National
Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician -
Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution - 1
year SPD or surgical scrub tech experience. - Experience in related

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums,
