Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Employment
Services Specialist / Job Coach I supports individuals seeking
employment by providing coaching, job readiness training, and
placement assistance. This role works directly with clients to
assess strengths and barriers, develop individualized employment
plans, and connect participants to meaningful career opportunities.
This position may work between GSUL's Del Paso Heights and Oak Park
locations and may also provide workforce support to participants
within our allcove youth program , serving young people ages 12–25.
What You'll DoClient Coaching & Support Conduct assessments to
identify strengths, goals, and employment barriers Develop and
monitor Individualized Employment Plans Provide one-on-one coaching
and ongoing job search support Job Readiness & Placement Facilitate
workshops on resume writing, interviewing, and workplace skills
Assist with applications, CalJobs registration, and job search
strategies Coordinate interviews and support participants through
hiring processes Case Management & Documentation Maintain accurate
client records and track progress in case management systems
Monitor outcomes and support program reporting Outreach &
Partnerships Participate in job fairs, community events, and
outreach activities Build relationships with employers and
community partners Team Collaboration Participate in case review
meetings and cross-program coordination Stay current on workforce
trends and best practices What We're Looking ForRequired Minimum 2
years of relevant paid experience in workforce development,
coaching, case management, or related field Strong communication
and relationship-building skills Ability to work effectively with
diverse and underserved populations Strong organizational and
documentation skills Preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field
Experience with WIOA or workforce programs Experience working with
youth or young adults Bilingual (Spanish or other languages)
strongly preferred Work Environment Work may occur at both Del Paso
Heights and Oak Park locations Occasional evenings or weekends for
