Job Description:
Amazon Lab126 is seeking dedicated, analytical candidates with a
proven track record of performance to be part of the Environmental
Compliance team. Amazon Lab126 develop a diverse products and each
with level of compliance requirements. The Environmental Compliance
Program Manager is responsible for ensuring Amazon products are
fully compliant with all relevant global environmental regulations
and laws. The Senior Environmental Compliance Program Manager
(EC-PM) responsibilities span through entire life cycle of the
product from new product reviews, regulatory filings, label
reviews, maintaining policies and procedures to responding to
inquiries from regulators and customers. Key job responsibilities ·
Work with development and sustaining teams to ensure our products
are in compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and
certifications requirements. · Monitor and analyze the developing
trends and changes in regulatory compliance laws, rules and
regulations. · Establish and maintain an effective product
compliance program to prevent and/or resolve product impacts/delays
to the customer while minimizing business risk to the organization.
· Maintain Environmental Compliance policies and procedures. ·
Ensure that Environmental Compliance timelines & deliverables align
with product plans. · Serve as the subject matter expert, providing
support and advice to functional teams with respect to product
compliance. · Ability to work/communicate effectively with cross
functional teams, in a multi-disciplinary, global environment;
Comfortable interacting with regulators, outside agencies, industry
trade groups/associations, and customers, as required. · Experience
implementing robust environmental controls, training and policies
to ensure full compliance throughout a large, geographically
diverse organization. · Engage with suppliers on environmental
compliance initiatives to meet & deliver cross-functional goals.
About the team The Amazon Devices Environmental Compliance Team
partners with internal and external stakeholders to provide
guidance and ensure products comply to applicable global
Environmental regulations. The Environmental Compliance (EC) team
works with development and sustaining teams to ensure our products
are in compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory and
certification requirements pertaining to the environmental aspects
of our products, including ROHS, REACH, Prop 65. The team’s
responsibilities span the entire life-cycle of the product from new
product reviews, regulatory filings, label reviews, maintaining
policies and procedures to working with industry trade associations
and responding to inquiries from government regulators and
customers. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 6 years of compliance, audit or
risk management experience - 5 years of program or project
Management experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and
applications at an advanced level - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Project Management Professional (PMP) or
equivalent certification - Experience leveraging technology and
implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive
process improvements or equivalent - Master's degree or equivalent

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
