Type: Full-Time About the Role Spencer Composites, a wholly owned
subsidiary of X-Bow Systems, Inc., is seeking a Quality Assurance
Manager to lead and manage all aspects of Quality Assurance for
Procurement, Manufacturing, Customer Interface, Certification
Packages and approval across multiple programs. This role spans the
entire lifecycle, from initial contract initiation through
development, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and final
delivery of products supporting the Aerospace and Commercial
Industries. This position will report directly to X-Bow's Director
of Quality Assurance. This position is integral to ensure
compliance, quality, and timely delivery of products and overseeing
a small quality team. We are looking for a candidate with strong
communication, organizational, and management skills, combined with
broad experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing
facility. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced
environment, managing manufactured products with minimal oversight

and successful team. This position is on-site at the Spencer
Composites Facility in Sacramento, CA, with 10-15% travel . Key
Responsibilities Develop, plan, and implement quality management
systems in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001 including strategies,
methods, and systems to support composites manufacture production
while ensuring compliance with Government contracts, as applicable.
Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals. Ensure
all quality processes and procedures are documented, current and
effectively communicated across the organization. Ensure products
are inspected and tested to meet customer requirements. Oversee
supplier quality assurance processes, including audits and
performance evaluations. Collaborate with procurement to ensure
suppliers meet quality standards. Plan and conduct internal quality
audits. Manage external audits by customers and regulatory bodies.
Oversee inspection processes for incoming materials, in-process
items, and final product Develop and oversee systems for
identifying, documenting, and resolving non-conformances. Lead root
cause analysis and corrective action processes. Support project and
manufacturing planning, including personnel assignments, work
efforts, customer requirements, deliverables development, and
tracking. Assist with Contract Review, Purchase Orders, Receiving
Inspection, and Inventory management activities related to program
procurements. Required Skills and Abilities In-depth knowledge of
AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant aerospace quality standards.
Strong understanding of aerospace regulations and compliance
requirements. Experience with quality management software and
statistical analysis tools. Excellent leadership, communication,
and problem-solving skills. Qualifications Education: B.S./B.A. in
Engineering, Sciences or Manufacture Applied disciplines.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in aerospace quality
assurance, with at least 3 years in a management role. Preferred
experience with MRP/SAP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint). General
Requirements Must be a U.S. Person. Must meet federal government
requirements for access to government information; dual citizenship
may preclude meeting this requirement. About Spencer Composites
