You will be part of the change, and your contributions will provide an immediate and lasting impact, helping us achieve what's possible.Our Advantage:Competitive SalaryIncentive Bonuses, car allowance, company wide recognitionCareer advancement opportunitiesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance PackageJob DescriptionReporting to the Area Sales Manager, the individual in this role will be primarily responsible for developing target accounts and maintaining and driving new business within the Sacramento market.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Sales Skills:Leads all sales and account/planning, forecasting, reporting, management efforts for assigned accounts within territoryUnderstands, assesses, and anticipates customers' objectives, strategies, and requirements to identify and pursue sales opportunitiesAcquires new customers to maximize supply center revenueResponsible for escalated customer service issue follow-up, but not the primary contact point for issue resolutionManagement/Leadership:Works closely with supply center and corporate resource to have them enter & fulfill ordersStrong knowledge of the AMI sales process and policies (e.g., accruals, credit, expenses, rewards)Acts as a mentor for Sales RepresentativesPRODUCT/MARKET:Brings core product specification knowledge, application, and value to the customerUnderstands necessary building codes and how they impact AMI productsReads blueprints and understands take-off capabilities for core productsSells remodeling, new construction, project work, and ISSMust be able to accurately and professionally demo all core products to small and large groupsMust be able to accurately and professionally demo all core products to small and medium groupsUnderstands the basics of negotiating correct market value pricing for the assigned territory, and seeks advice from the Area Sales Leader or Sr. Sales ManagerQualificationsSuccessful sales history with 2 + years of outside sales experience.Experience within the building materials industry is highly preferred.Bachelor's degree preferredSelf-directed, highly organized, customer-focused, detail oriented, and competitiveWorking knowledge of core building material products (specifically windows & siding) for both single and multi-family applicationsProven experience in new business selling, upselling, and sellingPreferred experience working with builders and architects to create bigger ticket sales#Indeed5-AlsideAdditional InformationA brand of Associated Materials, Alside has been a leading manufacturer of vinyl siding and accessories and vinyl windows and patio doors for the residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets for more than seven decades.With our strong vertical integration of manufacturing, distribution and installation, we provide a one-stop resource for high-quality building materials and streamlined operations.
