Job title: _Sales Account Manager_ Reports to: _Sales Team_ Collaborates with: _Production Lead_ Manages: _Vendors, Account Receivable_ Job purpose The Sales account manager is the team leader for all aspects of the business revolving around sales. They are the connection between retail & our company. The AM will be responsible for managing these relationships, and providing for their needs to maintain good connections. Their main objective is to open new accounts with retail and help mature the relationship. Duties and responsibilities Managing In-House Accounts Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product needs; identifies and suggests products to meet those needs. Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; communicate any issues that may arise post-sale Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, and promos that may be of interest Documenting interactions into CRM program, to track requests/feedback from all accounts Scheduling Vendor days with Retail accounts and overseeing brand ambassadors working these events Gathering Market research and documentation into companies CRM program to assist with product development, strain selections, and promotion creation. Consistently striving to increase sales, and open new accounts. Creating and executing on budtender training programs. Managing the digital assets that clubs are using on menus/weedmaps Managing Accounts receivable. Distribution Partners Management Leading weekly/biweekly meetings on behalf of the company with internal sales team Creating reports on needs, feedback, PADs, sales rates, market research Scheduling re-orders while collaborating with company owners and inventory managers Creating PADs and promotional items based around the needs of our distribution. Managing imagery used by distributors. reviewing online sales platforms, menus, graphics, etc to ensure correct digital assets are being used Brand Ambassador Management Creating successful vendor day events - managing all aspect Managing the scheduling with retail partners, brand ambassadors, and the company Ensuring that all supplies, gear, promotional materials arrive to locations Communicating what improvements need to be made Social Media Management Creating posts around new orders with retail partners to increase visibility Using social media to market promo's, vendor days, new clubs, new products, new strains, etc. Using social media to connect and communicate with our community Using social media to connect with potential influencers Required Skills Sale management experience in the cannabis sector Understanding the nuances of cannabis that factor into sales Understanding and aligning with the mission of our company Be willing and comfortable working on site & in the field, while being a good representative of our company and our brand Ability to collaborate and problem solve in real time to properly manage B2B relationships. Google sheets, google suite, inventory management system, and social media usage Managing company sales and marketing employees Understanding CA cannabis compliance regulations Working conditions/Physical requirements Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to sit for extended periods while maintaining focus. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and balance up to 50 lbs. and be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products. Work is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow & in at retail locations Work is performed inside warehouse facilities, refrigerated rooms, or cultivation rooms. Work is subject to weather conditions, including rain and extreme hot or cold temperatures. May require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
