Position: Commercial Construction Project Coordinator Location: Sacramento, CA Widely respected and forward thinking ground up commercial building construction general contractor actively seeks skilled and experienced Construction Project Coordinator for our thriving Sacramento, CA office. This is a long term full time career opportunity. The Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for managing all administrative aspects of a construction project, including vendor management, subcontractor compliance, subcontractor payment applications, subcontractor contract administration, owner payment applications, Procore management and communicating with customers. This individual must display a high degree of professionalism, organization and cooperation with customers and co-workers. Individual works closely with Project Accounting staff and Project Management staff. Construction Project Coordinator Responsibilities: - Assist in setting up all project administration documents - Assist Project Management personnel to create all subcontract documentation including subcontract agreements, change orders and purchase orders - Review, validate and process outside vendor expenses - Collect, review and process subcontractor payment applications - Administrate subcontractor compliance with insurance and Subguard - Management of lien releases (pre-lims, conditionals and unconditionals) - Monitor all project financials; tracking planned cost vs. actual; job progress vs. amount billed - Review customer billing requirements within the contract and complete as necessary; monitor payables beyond 30 days and notify Project Manager - Confirm that all project documents have been collected - Ensure project file integrity (confirm that all project docs have been collected and fully executed i.e. bonds, insurance, signed subcontracts, etc.) - Collect, validate and file project field reporting - Work directly with account payables; subcontractors, accounts receivable, governing agencies, government reporting, and/or wage issues, etc. Construction Project Coordinator Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED - Experience working in a fast-paced office environment (Preferable within the Construction industry) - Office/Business support background (Preferable within the Construction industry) - Experience managing subcontractor payment applications including G702 and G703s, lien releases, change orders, etc. - Proficiency with subcontractor/vendor insurance compliance - Proficiency with spreadsheets and software - Proficiency in Construction Management Software (Procore, Prolog, Primavera, GC Pay, etc.) - Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load - Exceptional organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner - Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English - Superior written, oral and digital communication skills - Outlook Email, Excel, Word (MS Office products) and others TO APPLY: For immediate and entirely confidential employment consideration please email updated and detailed resume as a Microsoft Word or PDF attachment, to email@example.com .
