• On Site GymJob DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of our projects, utilizing their expertise in estimating to ensure the successful delivery of our projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for preparing estimates, evaluating costs, and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors. This role requires a high level of precision, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills.Responsibilities:1. Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for construction projects.2. Utilize estimating software such as Accubid Anywhere and Livecount Cloud to enhance efficiency and accuracy.3. Evaluate the cost implications of design choices and provide cost-saving alternatives when applicable.4. Identify the cost of raw materials and labor, ensuring all cost elements are considered in the estimate.5. Perform quantity take-off of electrical materials and equipment required for projects.6. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing.7. Perform layout of electrical systems to ensure feasibility and efficiency.8. Carry out duties assigned by the Electrical Estimating Manager in a timely and efficient manner.9. Provide regular reports and updates to the Electrical Estimating Manager, ensuring clear and effective communication of progress and any issues or changes.10. Continuously improve estimating processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications:1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical estimating, with a preference for candidates with 5 years of experience.2. Previous experience in mechanical or HVAC electrical estimating is preferred.3. Proficiency in estimating software such as Accubid Anywhere and Livecount Cloud.4. Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.6. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.8. Strong negotiation skills, with experience coordinating with vendors and subcontractors.9.
