OVERVIEW/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Responsible for analyzing planned production orders, material
availability, and available production capacity needed for the
execution of production orders. The Production Planner will operate
out of the manufacturing facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops production planning strategies and activities to maximize
the use of organizations resources to meet established production
specifications and schedules
Analyze, plan, and release production orders to manufacturing while
verifying materials and equipment required for production are
available
Confers with management regarding manufacturing capabilities,
production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate
production
Establish production times and staffing requirements to provide
information for management decisions
Provide estimated manufacturing time for assemblies and align with
production team on recommended improvements
Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and
performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing
capacity
Review and validate BOM, route, and inventory. Escalate
discrepancies to the Production Planning Manager
Engage with Supply Chain Management on delivery of POs in support
of production orders
Works to resolve problems pertaining to scheduling conflicts and
takes corrective action
Identify material order discrepancies and planning for forecasted
demand
Resolves urgent matters regarding Item Requirements
Dynamically adjusts production schedules to support flexible
manufacturing and assembly needs
Drive data and inventory transaction accuracy as required by
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Maintain monthly department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Coordinate with Administrative Assistant on accuracy and timeliness
of build packets for production
Manage production orders statuses, identify and report out on cost
discrepancies
Seek to improve existing standards and procedures to support
continuous improvement in support of the Quality Management System
(QMS)
Facilitate Engineer Change Requests engaging alignment with key
stakeholders
7S compliance
Maintain a culture of safety
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of job experience and
education
3 -5 years previous experience in a manufacturing environment,
including forecasting, scheduling, and supply chain support
Ability to promote and drive continuous improvement
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Analytical skills and ability to make data based decisions
Good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with
an awareness of the impact of failure/ cost of poor quality
Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
Fully Trained in Microsoft AX 2012 Production Control preferred or
minimum 1 year ERP experience

This position reports directly to the Production Planning
Manager

Construction Innovations pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with
