Communications Analyst
ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST Final Filing Date: 11/16/2022 Under direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) supports the Operations & Policy Implementation Branch and the California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) programs to carry out the more complex CWDB communication efforts. The incumbent coordinates with policy makers, CWDB staff and Board members, the public, and various branches within the Employment Development Department (EDD) and the Department of Technology to maintain a smooth flow of information. The AGPA prepares and disseminates information through appropriate channels, which includes maintaining the CWDB website and various electronic communication outlets.The incumbent also serves in a backup and supporting capacity to other Communications team members in roles that include editing documents prepared by other CWDB branches, remediating and posting documents and other material to the CWDB website, researching and writing internal policies and procedures, making updates to the CWDB website, and managing special projects and board meetings.

Special Instructions:Telework - The California Workforce Development Board (CWDB) headquarters is located in Sacramento, CA, however we will consider candidates from nearby areas as remote and/or telework options may be available for this position.
