Job Description:

*Overview: *

* Under the leadership of the Applications Manager, the Application Analysts primary role is to have a complete working knowledge of assigned application, to include an understanding of the assigned department workflows for the associated system build/configure, upgrade and release process.
* The Application Analyst will act as the primary support contact for the application and coordinate issues that arise in their area of responsibility and must be very knowledgeable about the organizations policies, procedures, and business operations.
* They will perform workflow analysis, data collection and report issues associated with the software.
* The Application Analyst will serve as a liaison between team, end users, third parties and technical staff.
* They will work with end users by participating in training and troubleshooting issues and questions. Intermediate level technical professional.
* Completes moderate complex work within a discipline or specialty area.
* Follows processes and checklists.
* Understands why the process is important, including the need for flexibility as common sense dictates.
* Shares feedback with process owners from personal experience. Works to resolve operational counterparts issues.
* Presents options when available. Build/configure trust.
* Communicates with operations when requested features are available.
* Shares the "why" behind the recommendation or solution. Proactively addresses know Issues.

*Job Responsibilities: *

* Responsible for the operational practices of scheduling and payer authorization, including nuances of provider schedules within your organization, scheduling practices for certain types of visits, and how these practices relate to the medical record flow for appointments Knowledge of areas that integrate with Cadence, including check-in, registration, benefits, referrals, PCP assignment, and orders
* Performs all Cadence/Prelude builds and upgrades, tier 2 support, SER/EAF maintenance and report configuration/development activities to ensure successful implementation of the system at multiple practice sites.
* Understand payer mix and patient coverage benefits.
* Responsible for work and/or moderately complex projects perfumed within a broader technical and
* business context
* Uses judgment to identify and solve problems in straightforward situations
* Analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and precedents
* Works on development of new technologies
* Identifies root cause and communicates the next steps. Answers the question at hand.
* Acting as the primary support contact for the application's end-users
* Provide software product function, design, and build/configure expertise needed for successful product implementation.
* Identifying issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and working to resolve them
* Guiding workflow design, build/configuring and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with software ensuring design and configuration meets patient care and business needs
* Works with the I.S. team members, vendors and customers to ensure that the application systems are properly maintained and necessary changes are reliably tested, implemented, and documentation is current.
* Serving as a liaison between end users' workflow needs and implementation staff
* Maintaining regular communication with software vendor representatives, business community, and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs in regards to the project deliverables and timeline
* Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions
* Expert in workflows identifies areas for system optimization and process improvement.
* Develops solutions and collaborates with the team and management to implement these solutions.
* Works to ensure that user problems and configuration requests are appropriately addressed, and system upgrades are successfully executed with minimal disruption to operations
* Develops and manages effective customer relationships with end-users and other team members to enhance the timeliness and effectiveness of technology solutions.
* Responds promptly to the needs of end-users, and meets Service Level Agreements as defined in conjunction with our customers following issues through to closure.
* Participates in team and leadership meetings to discuss team and ongoing project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates
* No supervisory responsibility but may provide informal guidance to new team members
* Accountable for technical contribution to a team
* Provides build/configure and workflow recommendations to the team.
* Shares feedback with their peers.
* Responds to fellow team member needs. Documents important information for future reference.
* Shows tenacity in approach with issues. Contributes when pulled in by another team for an integrated issue. Takes responsibility.


* 3-5 years of experience in Healthcare industry and previous experience in required application discipline

*Required Education and Certifications*

* Master's Degree preferred, minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience


* Certified in one or more applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

* Monday to Friday
