Job Type Full-timeDescriptionA Maintenance Technician job in
INSERT CITY, STATE is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. You
will perform work activities concerning the maintenance and repair
of plant equipment and buildings. You will be responsible for a
variety of upkeep assignments for the facility. You should have
five-plus years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing
setting. Milgard Windows & Doors is the leading manufacturer of
windows and doors in the Western United States with operations in
Washington, Oregon, and California. Milgard was recently acquired
by MI Windows, which creates additional opportunities for growth
and synergies between these two industry leaders.Maintenance
Technician job responsibilities include:Service, troubleshoot, and
repair industrial components such as motors, variable AC drives,
PLCs, servos, sensors, and switches.Service, troubleshoot, and
repair industrial pneumatic system components such as pumps,
valves, cylinders, motors, and solenoids.Perform tool offset
corrections and position adjustments on multi-axis automated CNC
equipment.Maintain required repair and work logs.Prioritize repairs
to meet efficiencies and the needs of the production plant.Provide
routine preventative upkeep on equipment and work with production
personnel to maintain and improve quality.Perform some
fabrication.Work with Production personnel to maintain and improve
quality.Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures,
including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.
RequirementsQualifications:Must be able to work any required
schedule needed for the facility needs.At least five (5) years of
maintenance experience required.Certification from college or
technical school preferred but not required as demonstrable
experience may be accepted in lieu of credentials.Working knowledge
of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics,
mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and toolingMust be able
to read and follow blueprints and schematicsAbility to troubleshoot
equipment in all the aforementioned areasHeavy lifting may be
required. Ability to lift and carry over 50 pounds alone, up to 100
pounds with assistanceWorking knowledge of electrical, electronic
controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding,
fabrication, and toolingComputer literacy with the ability to learn
new computer software programsExcellent written and oral
communication skillsAttention to detail with strong organizational
