STAFF SERVICES ANALYST (GENERAL) Final Filing Date: 4/17/2021 Application Methods: Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) By Mail Drop-off Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) is responsible for routine duties and responsibilities required to review and approve all initial Osteopathic Physician's and Surgeon's License application files. The incumbent will assist in the creation of online forms for posting to the Board's website and BreEZe Online Services portal and performs User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of the BreEZe database. The incumbent will create, post and send all outreach information related to this license type.

You will find additional information about the job in the Duty Statement . Working Conditions Incumbent must be able to perform minor lifting of files up to 30 lbs. and bending to retrieve and replace files in the file room. Incumbent works up to 40 hours per week in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control from 8 am to 5 pm. Daily access to and use of personal computer and telephone is essential. Sitting, bending and standing requirements are consistent with office work. This position may require occasional overnight travel by land or air.   • STAFF SERVICES ANALYST (GENERAL) The mission of the Osteopathic Medical Board of California is to protect consumers and promote the highest professional standards in the practice of osteopathic medicine, the Osteopathic Medical Board of California licenses osteopathic physicians and surgeons.

    The board investigates consumer complaints and uses its enforcement power to ensure practitioners abide by the provisions of the state Business and Professions Code/Medical Practice Act.
