Coordinate all shop drawings, processing submittals, and gathering and distributing information. --- BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 3 year's experienceThe project engineer is responsible for the control the project document and procurement process with daily, weekly and monthly project activities consisting of, but not limited to, the following:--- Basic understanding of scheduling software and scheduling principles/logic--- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD--- RFIs, submittals, document control and as-built upkeep--- Quantity take offs including material procurement and project bid analysis--- Attend and participate in pre-op, subcontractor, owner and team meetings--- Manage and maintain material delivery logs--- Assist in process of issuing subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders--- Field measurement and site verification activities--- Manage the closeout process--- Complete job-site punch lists, work with owner manuals and warranties--- Performs schedule updates with input from project team--- Manage the job specific quality program--- Prepare weekly update reports with assistance from Project ManagerInterested in hearing more?
