Responsibilities
The Data Systems Analyst provides data management and reporting/analytics/dashboard expertise in the planning, designing, developing, implementing and administering data-based systems and reporting/analytics/dashboard tools, processes, and services within an Infor/Lawson environment. Maintains and optimizes systems and migrate data and systems as needed.

Ensures integrity and completeness of data and workflow, manages and/or develops data practices, databases and information systems as well as guidelines, dictionaries, registries and/or services.

Ensures integrity, accuracy and completeness of reporting/analytics/dashboards and the associated guidelines, governance, standards, documentation and/or services.

This position will provide back-up support for the IT Architect and other Data Systems Analysts. The incumbent will participate in the evaluation, planning, development, testing, of reporting/analytics of information systems to support implementation and ongoing operations for all components of the associated application/systems portfolio.

The position may also work on enterprise IT projects associated with Enterprise Applications, Finance, Supply Chain, and other administrative applications.

May be required to work outside traditional business hours to meet critical needs of the Information Technology division. May be required to travel to attend training and/or achieve certification(s) for the supported applications. May be required to work remotely to support the tools, services, systems, and processes of the division.

Having significant experience and applies advanced data/analytics/information management concepts in a campus/medical center/OP environment to resolve highly complex issues and/or data needs where analyses of situations, business process, information or data require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Effectively selects methods, techniques and criteria to obtain desired results and/or present information in actionable and meaningful formats. Maintains and optimizes systems and migrates data and systems as needed.

Technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field of database and reporting/analytics/dashboards and recognized expertise in specific areas; problem-solving frequently requires analysis of unique issues/problems without precedent and/or structure. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy.
Required Qualifications

* Bachelor degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of work experience and education.

* Experience working with applicable technology languages/platforms and tools (SQL, PowerShell, SharePoint, Crystal Reports, Tableau, BIRST).

* Significant experience in report writing, analytics, dashboards and data extracts/files.

* Experience in system administration and maintance.

* System analysis and design knowledge needed to understand functional requirements and translate these functions as applicable to computerized processing, analytics and dashboards.

* Experience with large-scale databases.

* Working knowledge of total computer environment including hardware, operating system software and application software.

* Ability to represent relevant information in abstract models.

* Critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

* Advanced analytical and design skills, including the ability to abstract information requirements from real-world processes and translate them in to meaningful reporting/analytics/dashboards to support and enhance business operations.

* Demonstrated advanced problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience as a technical lead on complex projects and/or application development is preferred.

* Academic institution or large integrated healthcare systems experience preferred.

* Experience with ERP, EAM, Financial, Supply Chain applications is preferred.

* Experience in the Infor/Lawson product suite for ERP, EAM, Finance, Supply Chain, Clinical Engineering, Facilities is preferred.

* Experience in Infor/Lawson tool sets IPA, ION, Clinical Bridge.

* Experience with integrated multi-vendor applications preferred.

* Advanced knowledge of data management systems, practices and standards.

* Advanced knowledge of code management, version control, and associated documentation.

* Advanced knowledge of data analysis, reporting, analytics, and dashboarding.

* Ability to work independently, set priorities, organizes work and meet deadlines.

* Ability to organize and communicate thoughts logically, clearly and develop insightful conclusions.

* Sound independent decision-making and ability to set and achieve goals.

* Ability to learn assigned applications, tools, processes and protocols and suggest changes to promote efficiency and best practices.
