Job Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Job Specialty: Surgical Services Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS and CST Must-Have: Open Heart Surgery experience Job Description: - Participate in surgical procedures as a key member of the operating room team. - Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. - Maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety. - Support the team during surgical processes involving open heart surgeries. - Be available for on-call duties, which will be discussed during the interview. - Complete required modules during orientation; modules vary by specialty. - Preferred experience with Epic charting system. - Must be compliant with health and safety standards. - Background information and driving history must be disclosed prior to submission for compliance. - Return staff policy requires a one-year gap to return as a traveler.
