A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Repair and Modification Technician.

Position Type: Full-Time Contract
Duration: 6 months
Location: Fairfield, CA

As a Repair and Modification Technician, you will:Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
Oversees training.


Required Skills:Minimum of 3 years' experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes and practices
Ability to travel 15%-25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in reading and interpreting technical publications and/or maintenance manuals.
Must be able to pass Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals and maintain qualification/certification.


Preferred qualifications (desired skills/experience):Minimum 3 years aircraft platform experience.
Ability to analyze baseline maintenance plan and develops a scheduled visit maintenance plan.
Ability to conduct maintenance debrief and records review and verify work performed and administers sell-off paperwork.
Ability to maintain and/or create metrics.
Capable of implementing corrective action to prevent or preclude quality issue occurrence.
Ability to perform a root cause analysis and resolves or elevates issue.
Ability to meet the Aircraft Fall Protection System weight requirements of
Ability to read, interprets and understand Aircraft blueprints and USAF Technical Orders.
Prefer multi-system operations, maintenance and repair experience including pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $35 to $40 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
