Job Description:

A company is looking for a Student Assistant position.

Key Responsibilities:

Assigning ICD-10-CM codes to outpatient medical records for reimbursement and data collection
Coding medical records accurately for hospital reimbursement, research, and planning
Reviewing medical record abstract data for accuracy in EPIC/IHIS before completing the chart

Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding procedures
Experience in coding emergency room, outpatient surgery, and clinic records
Ability to work varying shifts and maintain productivity and quality standards
Completion of relevant medical coding training or coursework
Familiarity with Encoder Software and EPIC/IHIS Resolute Billing system
