Siemens Mobility Rolling Stock is adding a Group Lead Quality
Assurance who will support our production line. In this exciting
role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality
inspector team delivers value to ensure the work products meet our
high standards as required by Siemens Mobility.
What you will be doing:
- Actively participates in the development of inspection
guidelines, instructions and training material.
- Leads critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical,
electrical test and functional inspections on a wide variety of
components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and
- Works independently to perform complex and critical inspection
processes, requiring special set-ups of new or unique equipment and
interpretation of test data from a variety of sources.
- Trains and/or oversees the work of less experienced
- May conduct first article inspection of parts and
- Prepare and approve inspection reports, charts, and records
regarding quality measures, conformance status, and quantity of
- Leads root cause evaluations and corrective actions utilizing

What you will need to be successful
- 2 Years' experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Experience leading a diverse team in a production environment
with an emphasis on Quality Assurance
- A history of "hands-on" approach to problem solving and
countermeasure implementation within own areas of
We would be impressed if you had:
- 5 + years of experience planning and supporting launch of new
production lines in a low-speed production environment (e.g. rail,
aviation/aerospace, naval, heavy equipment, etc.).
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical
Engineering (Or Equivalent Experience)
- Work experience in the rail business, preferably in light rail,
heavy rail, or related production, is needed.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar MRP / ERP systems is highly
