for a Project Controls Coordinator to join our Environmental
Services Team. As a key role within the Project Support team,
Project Controls Coordinators provide essential financial and
administrative support on a portfolio of projects ranging in size.

Responsibilities
- Preparing project cost reports on a weekly basis and
distributing to the project team
- Tracking and updating opportunities in Stantec's CRM
database
- Providing support with project budgets and change orders
- Assisting with review, routing, and execution of client
contracts and change orders
- Completing project setup forms for new projects based on the
client contract, budget, and work breakdown structure
- Reviewing project charges and coordinating corrections with
accounting as needed to facilitate timely and accurate client
invoicing, as directed by the project manager
- Preparing subcontracts and task orders as requested by the
project manager
- Coding and routing sub-consultant invoices for approval,
tracking sub-consultant budgets
- Preparing various detailed project financial reports in Excel,
as needed
- Providing various financial and contract-related reporting to
project teams and clients
- Supporting Finance Manager and Project Controls Leads with
other duties as required
- Assisting Project Manager with follow-up on past-due invoices
as neededQualificationsYour Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent communication, time-management, multi-tasking, and
organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with
clients, contractors, and staff at all levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically desired:
advanced expertise in MS Excel)
- Experience with ERP and other Financial/Cost systems (Oracle,
etc.) is preferred
- Detail-oriented and resourceful, ability to learn new programs
and concepts quickly
- Positive attitude with the ability to develop and maintain
effective working relationships
- Solid time management and follow-through skills to manage
multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to see the "big picture" and use common sense to make
decisionsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business
administration, finance or related field, or equivalent experienceA
minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in consulting or
engineeringTypical office environment working with computers and
remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may
include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.This

46.92 (CA, CO locations only)The final agreed upon compensation is
based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work
