Description

Baristas are responsible for making quality beverages, generally specialty hot drinks, preparing food orders, working the cash register, and cleaning and stocking the Legacy Lounge.

Requirements

Direct Report: Restaurant & Bar Supervisor

Employment: Part Time

Essential Functions:

* Greeting Arden Hills members and guests in a friendly manner
* Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
* Open to hosting coffee events for Arden Hills guests
* Follow the scripting and training assigned.
* Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
* Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino.
* Maintain a clean work environment
* Cash handling and accurately record customer order information
* Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently as they arise.

Education & Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year customer service experience
* Minimum 1 year barista experience

Physical Requirements:

* Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8-hours in length
* While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
* The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
* The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
