JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision and direction of the Vice President of Easter
Seals Enterprises (ESE) is responsible for overseeing of ESE's
daily operations that may include state and federal safety
requirements, budgetary requirements, staff development, and state
and federal compliance regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and
other duties as assigned:
Quality of Services:
- Promotes opportunities for individuals to develop skills and
increase functional abilities in the areas of vocational, domestic,
self-advocacy, and community integration.
- Review and submit all mileage sheets to the Transportation
Coordination on a weekly basis.
- Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to
record keeping, attendance, billing, etc.
- Provide support on Person-Centered Thinking/Planning philosophy
to build and sustain a service model that supports positive control
and self-direction for individuals served.
- Assist with monitoring Alta California Regional Center and
Department of Rehabilitation service documentation beginning and
expiration dates to ensure accuracy of billing.
- Assist with curriculum development to meet program goals and
objects to support extensive community integration of individuals
served.
- Assist in keeping individuals' medical records complete and
current in program files and electronic medical files.
- Provide guidance on Person-Centered Thinking/Planning
philosophy to build and sustain a service model that supports
positive control and self-direction for the individuals
served.
- Develop and sustain contacts with ALTA Regional and Dept of
Developmental Services' resource staff; recruit program
participants from regional centers, Dept. of Rehabilitation, etc.,
to maximize enrollment and attendance standards.
- Collaborate with Director of Contracts Business Development
during the bid process to ensure all contracts are properly manned
and quality assurance standards are maintained.
- Comply with privacy laws and requirements under HIPAA
regulations and understand the consequences of non-compliance.
- Assures staff are trained payroll requirements and submits
staff and individuals served timesheets on time for approval and
submission.

- Monitor the condition of agency vehicles through the Vehicle
Condition Report and Monthly Vehicle Report ensuring that both are
submitted to the Transportation Coordinator.
- Provide exceptional customer services, both internally and
externally.

Finances:
- Assure accuracy and timeliness of attendance records used for
billing.
- Assure program credit card purchases, program and work contract
supply orders are accurate, documented and submitted on time.
- Have a system in place for monitoring Alta California Regional
Center and Department of Rehabilitation service documentation
beginning and expiration dates to ensure accuracy of billing.
Communication:
- Provide exceptional customer services both internally and
externally.
- Address individuals served concerns/complaints and solve
problems with supervisor as needed.
- Address work contract concerns/complaints and solve problems
with supervisor as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisor regarding
program state of affairs including program needs, work contract
status, and staff morale.
- Attend and participate in general staff meetings on a weekly
basis.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings or training as
assigned.
- Attend and participate in monthly ESE Leadership meetings.
- Attend and participate in Safety Meetings.
- Attend and participate in CARF Meetings.
- Attends and participates in the Case File Quality Assurance
Committee.
- Attend additional agency meetings as requested.
Meetings:
- Attend and participate in general staff meetings on a weekly
basis.
- Attend and participate in weekly Program meetings and other
meetings as assigned.
- Attend the Safety Committee meeting.
