$1,500 Hiring Bonus for active ASW, AMFT, APCC candidates, additional $1500 Hiring Bonus for fluent Spanish speaking candidates We are currently hiring or Clinician I (ASW, AMFT, APCC) and Clinician II (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) in the following programs: Wraparound, Managed Care Kaiser, FIT (Flexible Integrated Treatment) JOB SUMMARY The Clinician I provides community based, comprehensive, strength-based, culturally competent, trauma informed, flexible, effective, quality mental health services and supports to eligible at-risk children, youth, and families. The Clinician provides services in accordance with County Mental Health and Family Centered Practice principles, including family voice and choice provided in collaboration with those individuals and agencies involved with the child or youth. Supports the Mission, Vision, and Values of the agency. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience A Masters' degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling; A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential or having registered as an Associate Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) or Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT); and At least 1 year of experience providing services to adolescents and their families Skills & Requirements Prepared to work independently with flexible hours that may include evenings, weekend and holidays Proven documentation skills and intermediate level computer skills including all MS Office programs Adhere to all confidentiality requirements Bilingual preferred Verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, community partners, consumers and all levels of management Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and assignments effectively Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment within program/department and agency wide Ability to work in a mobile, fast paced environment Ability to use a laptop computer Fulfillment of TB test, background check clearance, and any other mandatory State/Federal requirements Valid California driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, can maintain a driving record acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier, if applicable to position Must provide and operate a registered, properly insured automobile, if applicable to position ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Position Specific Provides comprehensive, strength-based, culturally competent, flexible, effective, quality mental health services, including psychotherapeutic interventions, to eligible at-risk children, youth, and families. Provides services to children and youth involved in the child welfare and Juvenile Justice systems meeting all County requirements as listed in program scope Provides services to assigned children, youth, and families in the home, office, school, or other community based settings Able to provide or arrange for safe transportation for youth and families to services as needed Possesses specific cultural competence to work with and outreach to culturally diverse populations and communities Ensures all clinical records are current and accurate, meeting organization and County timelines for submission Provides and documents all Medi-Cal eligible services provided, including but not limited to assessment, plan development, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral, rehabilitation, IHBS, ICC, case management, ICC-CFTs, and crisis intervention Completes Intake, Core Assessment, Mid-Assessment, Discharge packets and WFI's for assigned client's meeting expected timelines Accurately documents all billable and non-billable services provided, meeting expected timelines Provides referrals and resources to children, adults and families, and acts as a liaison between child/family, assigned treatment team and external organizations Utilizes Evidence Based Practices whenever possible, if clinically indicated Ensures every assigned family has an individualized safety plan that maximizes the use of natural supports and community based resources Attends all internal psychiatric appointments with assigned youth and caregivers as scheduled Participates in the agency 24 hour family support on-call program Participates in utilization, accreditation, peer review process as assigned Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in Employee Development Plan Works collaboratively with all internal programs, departments, and staff to provide support as needed Maintains positive relationships with system partners, families and providers Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in Employee Development Plan Attends all staff meetings, clinical Supervision, and consultation meetings as scheduled Participates in clinical supervision per BBS and County contract requirements Coordinates with other services provided under the Medi-Cal model, acting in collaboration with other partners and ensuring documentation reflects standards that meet or surpass the agency, state and federal Medi-Cal/Medicaid standards Agency Specific Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of agency, while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics, the agency's policies and procedures, contractor requirements, and regulatory requirements. Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward the agency's Mission, Vision, and Values Work collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as needed Utilize and maintain calendar with all work-related details in order to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkers Participate in on-going training to expand and develop professional skills Perform other duties as necessary for the agency, as assigned Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 1 - 3 years Salary: $62,400 - $68,900 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
