Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.Job MissionExecutes standardized quality control checks on company products to ensure that they meet and exceed legal and company standards for safety and quality. Performs process walk-throughs of assembly and sub-assemblies operations. Develops products inspection and sampling inspection plans, execute inspections as per plans. Documents inspection results, identifies additional areas for quality control improvement and participates in end-to-end solutions implementation. Individual has a good eye for detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ultimately, a top-class quality technician who efficiently monitors the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates.This position may require access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. - 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require the Company to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.Role and responsibilitiesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESExecutes standardized process inspections/tests throughout the production process.Validates precision assemblies in strict accordance with procedures and identify anomalies.Ensure reported anomalies rework process is productive, follow process thru completion.Uses standardized tools (i.E., torque wrenches, calipers, height gauges, electric and pneumatic screwdrivers and ball drivers) to validate assemblies as per specifications.Participate in process audits and recommends procedural improvements to process owners.Enters data into company databases. Audits data to ensure accuracy.Interfaces and collaborates with various stakeholders, (examples: engineers, operators, supervisors) to drive defect resolution depending on the level and complexity.Follows control measures and processes to ensure the quality of modules produced.Identifies discrepant material and ensures defect information is accurately captured to enable effective resolution.May provide guidance and/or train other team members.Can learn and apply new information or skills.Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism.Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.Performs other duties as assigned.Education and experienceRequires High School Diploma, Technical Associate Degree/certification preferred.Minimum 5 years of Quality Experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment.Experienced in using standardized hand tools.ESD Experience preferred.SkillsWorking at the cutting edge of tech, you'll always have new challenges and new problems to solve - and working together is the only way to do that.
