Description:SUMMARYAssists customers in person and over the
phone with parts and repair questions by performing the following
duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may beassigned.Positively represents Betts to all
customers, vendors associates and other contacts in a respectful
and professional manner.Answers customer questions in person or
over the phone regarding parts availability and price.Identifies
parts on vehicle or trailers to be repaired or replaced either at
counter, or undercarriage of vehicle or trailer.Pulls parts stock
to fill orders for customers.Quotes prices and credit terms and
prepares invoices for orders obtained.Estimates date of delivery to
customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery
schedules as well as stock on hand.Advises customer of additional
items available as a method of increasing sales volume.Overcomes
technical and business objections of prospective
customers.Completes applications for customer credit as
necessary.Tracks stock levels and assists with ordering additional
product as necessary.Builds and maintains customers
relationships.Enters new customer data and other sales data for
current customers into computer database.Works with outside sales
representatives to keep account activities and literature up to
date.Investigates and resolves customer problems with
deliveries.Locate and order parts as necessary to meet the needs of
our customer.Actively participate in the daily operation of the
branch by demonstration a team player attitude while maintaining a
safe work environment.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

responsibilities.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully,

governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of
managers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL
SKILLSAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, sales tax and commissions. Ability to apply concepts of
basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve
practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to
interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral,
diagram, or schedule form.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,
REGISTRATIONSValid Drivers License may be required; forklift
