Responsibilities

Morgan Advanced Materials is looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has a positive attitude to join our dynamic and growing company.

Summary

Under general supervision and following established policies and work instructions, performs a variety of shipping, receiving, packaging and inventory related tasks. This is a multi-tasked environment working within established procedures to perform shipping, receiving and inventory transactions in supporting systems. Will require judgement of appropriate customer packaging when procedures are not available for some products. Assignments are generally routine and require some judgement of actions in support of packaging and receiving materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Receives purchased materials in support of scheduled requirements and updates transactions in inventory program (Caelus). Distributes material in accordance with routing instructions.
* Picks, kits and performs inventory transactions for jobs.
* Packages items in accordance with established procedures and ships manufactured ceramics and materials to suppliers and customers.
* Coordinates shipping activity with carriers, production planning and customer service.
* Coordinates international shipments and documents. Follows strict adherence to Export Compliance policies and procedures for all shipments.
* Assist in various phases of material handling and control in compliance with ISO and OSHA requirements.
* Performs Cycle counting and Physical counting of inventory and inventory reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
* Monitors inventory quantities, locations, and identification (labeling) and accountable for the proper handling and storing of raw materials and finished goods.
* Provides finished good count for items reviewed in weekly Production meeting. Provides status of all shipments in process. Responsible for creating, transmitting, storing, and destroying Controlled Unclassified Information/Technology per government regulation and company procedures.
* Must adhere to the Morgan Technology Transfer Control Plan, government regulations, and company procedures.
* Must not export controlled technology to a foreign national without approval from the Export Compliance Manager.
* Responsible for properly filing exports in the Automated Commercial Environment as defined by Customs and Border Control regulations by working with the Export Compliance Manager to obtain and verify this information.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Must have basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills.

Salary: $ 18.00 to $ 19.00 Depending on Experience
