The Information Technology Specialist will assist in the support of Mac products for the Department of Justice Executive Staff. This includes MacBook processes including but not limited to connecting to email, launching zoom calls, audio troubleshooting, etc. They will also need to be able to handle any IT support tickets for Attorney General Executive staff and be skilled and familiar with any and all MacBook functions allowing for the smooth operation of these tasks.
Being flexible to work extended hours on short notice with travel is a requirement of this position. Executive Assistant experience and skills will be highly desired for applicants. As well as being very comfortable and familiar with MacBooks. Confidentiality and integrity will also be very important requirements of this position.
Working Conditions:Required to travel on short notice. Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time and to lift, carry, and move up to 20 lbs. Provide after-hours, on-call assistance; work overtime, and travel when needed (evenings and weekends).
Job Duties Include:

  • Hands-on setup and troubleshooting experience with Mac OS.
  • Ability to respond and manage all IT support tickets for Attorney General Executive staff.
  • Ability to travel on short notice.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours on short notice.
  • Experience installing/troubleshooting various software including, but not limited to Microsoft 10 and Office suite, Adobe, etc.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting hardware and peripherals.
  • Experience with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. We're a growing Department with an impact that spans the state
