Position requires collaboration with a wide variety of campus
faculty, staff and administrators, and non-UC Davis stakeholders.
Particular need to work with staff throughout Global Affairs
Services for International Students and Scholars and the Global
Learning Hub, the Global Education for all initiative,
communications, events, and Student Affairs.
Under direction of the Director, Intercultural Programs, the
Intercultural Programs Coordinator provides analytical support,
project planning, and day-to-day coordination of over 10 ongoing
culturally inclusive outreach programs for the international and
domestic student and scholar community: Global Ambassadors Program,
Global Education Opportunity Living and Learning Community,
Certificate Series for Graduate Students and Scholars, Academic and
Professional Development Series for International Students,
International Education Week, ongoing international student and
scholar orientations, tax program support, among others.
$21.45 - $43.15/hr Salary not to exceed $24.21 per hour

Maneuver files and materials weighing up to 25lbs.
Work regularly includes evenings and weekends, and occasional
overtime to meet operational needs.
Occasional travel to attend out of town conferences that may
include overnight stays.
Restricted vacation during peak periods.

Experience working with international students in a university
Experience designing, coordinating, facilitating and evaluating
programs, including training sessions, and special events.
Analytical skills and experience to research and evaluate program
requirements, synthesize information in an objective manner, and
Experience working in an environment that requires interpersonal
communication and conflict resolution skills to effectively engage
individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.
Familiarity with campus organizations and experience in project
planning and implementation in team settings.
Ability to work with various organizational; levels within the
University context: campus administration officials, faculty, and
staff and students.
Organizational skills to manage assignments and work under pressure
of strict deadlines, a heavy workload, frequent interruptions and

Experience working with global challenges and in cross cultural
situations abroad or in the U.S.
Conversant in a language other than English.
Experience working within student organizations at the
undergraduate or graduate level.
