Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
practical experience. 5 years of experience with software
development in one or more programming languages. 3 years of
experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products,
and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Experience building or using AI Agents and LLM-based frameworks to
automate software engineering tasks. Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical
field. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 1
year of experience in a technical leadership role. Experience

this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 bonus equity benefits.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and
relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about

Responsibilities Develop from scratch the next generation of AI
technologies that empower Google users. Work on Janus modeling and
quality, including setting up evaluation sets and infrastructure,
agentic orchestration flows, prompt iteration, context engineering,
autoraters, and training data collection. Work with the One Recipe
team on iterating on new versions of the Gemini model through SFT
and RL techniques. Read and research industrial ideas in this area
and apply them to our real use cases. Participate in code reviews,
enforce development best practices, and share your knowledge to
raise the team's overall technical expertise. Work in a small team
environment to rapidly develop a new product.
