Enabling Development Lab (TED), our core development focus is the
host interface firmware layer that sits in the intersection of
system software and flash management firmware. This key host
interface firmware technology drives Samsung's breakthrough V-NAND
technology and enables our customers to power performance-oriented,
demanding, enterprise-class applications ranging from hyper-scale
data centers, to big data processing, to software defined
virtualized storage arrays and infrastructures. We are seeking an
experienced Technical Program Manager to manage the strategy and
daily operations of OCP S.A.F.E. certification for our Enterprise
and Data Center SSDs. As a key member of our team, you will define
and advocate for optimal OCP S.A.F.E. security strategy,
collaborate with multiple engineering teams and sites, and drive
vendor management with OCP Security Review Providers (SRP's). Your
expertise will ensure timely delivery of OCP S.A.F.E., enabling us
to maintain our industry leadership. Location : Working onsite at
our San Jose, CA headquarters 5 days a week. What You'll Do Develop
and execute comprehensive plans for OCP S.A.F.E. across multiple
OCP Security Review Providers (SRP's), engineering teams and
product generations. Track status on current certification
submissions in progress, unblock engineers, and escalate blocker
issues to management as needed Familiarity with code review, threat
model, vulnerability testing and management and overall Software
Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Manage vendor relationships with OCP
Security Review Providers (SRP's), ensuring effective collaboration
and issue resolution Work closely with business teams to provide
visibility into certification schedules, timelines, and
deliverables Collaborate with security engineering teams to ensure
compliance with OCP S.A.F.E. specifications and cryptography
implementations in storage applications Drive process improvements
through checklists, best practices, post-mortems, reducing QA time
for certifications Co-Manage OCP S.A.F.E. program priorities and
target dates Co-Manage Budget SRP's selection based on available
bandwidth etc. Maintain program status and drive
dependencies/actions with DSK (Korea HQ) and SRP's. Regular sync
with DSK OCP S.A.F.E. TPM Provide visibility of Program Status to
stakeholders Represent security team in customer meetings.
Representing the organization's interests and perspectives in
similar industry forums or working group. Legal Documents and Pos.
Drive process improvements/optimization. What You Bring Bachelors
with 8 years of relevant industry experience, or Masters with 3
years with at least 2 years of experience in OCP S.A.F.E.
Certifications. Working experience with OCP Security Review
Providers (SRP's). Preferable experience of Security architecture
and codebase in Enterprise SSD/HDD devices Background in
cryptography and security application in SSDs/storage. Proven
experience managing complex technical projects across multiple
stakeholders; excellent communication skills required You're
