We are looking for a strong hands-on engineer to architect critical system software in collaboration with Acoustic and Attention, Invocation teams to enhance the capabilities of Apple's ecosystem for Siri.
Description
The ideal candidate will collaborate with high-performing teams to deliver results. Select appropriate technologies and frameworks based on performance requirements and scalability needs. Guide the development team in implementing the architectural design, providing technical expertise and decision-making on critical technical aspects.
Minimum Qualifications

• 
  
• At least 10+ years of industry experience
  
• Experience with software design patterns and architectural principles
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  
• Hands-on builder with the ability to dive into details, deliver prototypes, and simplify complex ideas
  
  Preferred Qualifications
  
  • 
    
  • Advanced Degree in EE/CS (preferred)
    
  • Strong understanding of language models, transformers, and related technologies
    
  • Background in performance-oriented computer architecture and system software for low-power consumer devices
    
    At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $207,800 and $378,700, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
