They contribute to designing, describing, and managing solution engineering to solve business problems or develop MVPs. This role is critical within the AI/ML CoE, working closely with all CoE teams to understand requirements and participate in design discussions in a highly collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. The individual consistently strives to raise engineering standards, stay updated with tools, trends, technologies, and frameworks industry-wide and within Innovation Architecture.The Architect is a highly skilled technical collaborator who works with cross-functional internal teams and external partners to drive architecture and design of digital products and capabilities. This hands-on role anticipates risks, defines mitigation plans, and implements solutions accordingly.The Architect will also explore and evaluate innovative digital solutions, drive experimentation, analyze outputs for viability, and mentor developers on best practices and design patterns to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL THESE GOALS BY:

• Business Process Improvement: Continually identify and evaluate external capabilities & products to accelerate our AI solutions. Advise on digital innovations to improve or create new capabilities. Advocate for technology and innovation, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Solution Architecture: Provide technology solutions and best practices for scaling products & features within the AI/ML CoE. Develop architectures for complex systems, ensuring compliance with requirements and standards.
• Innovation Development Management: Prototype and pilot new products, rapidly moving successful pilots into production. Oversee quality and business benefits, and collaborate on scaling capabilities and transitioning development to IT and support teams.
• Programming/Software Development: Define standards for tools, techniques, and security. Take technical responsibility across software development stages, guiding stakeholders.
• Innovation/Research: Monitor industry trends, assess new technologies, and develop prototypes for new experiences.THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years in digital technology, including architecture, design, and development
• Passion for innovation & emerging digital technologies
• Experience evaluating technology solutions for fit and viability
• Proven track record in managing large-scale digital projects
• Proficiency in modern architecture patterns (Microservices, Serverless, APIs, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes/Docker)
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling
• Experience integrating multiple data sources
• Understanding of front-end/back-end frameworks and languages
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly
