Job Description:

Job Duties:

Will translate business requirements into technical specifications and

build interactive responsive user interfaces using technologies such as

Node.js, React, JavaScript, CSS and HTML. Will test and debug

applications, identify, track and resolve defects and provide technical

leadership within the development team. Will develop and optimize

customer facing frontend web applications to ensure applications perform

consistently in cross-browsers and cross-devices. Will implement

frontend software projects. Will create system using software design

patterns and implement secure maintainable code. Will contribute to

frontend architectural improvements and create reusable components. Will

prototype and develop new ideas and participate in all parts of the

software lifecycle from research to release.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Computer System Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or

related field plus 5 years of experience in rapid production development

building web pages and applications using JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and

HTML.

OR, in the alternative:

Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Computer System Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a

related field plus 3 years of experience rapid production development

building web pages and applications using JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, and

HTML.

Special Requirements:

1. Demonstrated expertise building customer facing web applications

using Node.js and React.

2. Demonstrated experience consuming API.

3. Demonstrated experience using version control system including Git

and experience using JIRA while working on web application development.

4. Demonstrated expertise working in an Agile environment while building

customer facing web applications.
