Job Description:

Duties:

Under the direction of Manager Data Quality, will troubleshoot data

issues, validate result sets, and provide ad-hoc reports and analysis.

Will support SQL scripts maintenance, changes, and testing. Will design

and generate tracking and monitoring tools to validate data. Will

perform Impact Analysis on defects in all Esurance subsystems. Will

perform Data Cleanup of all defects in all Esurance subsystems. Will

work with the support team to ensure batch errors are resolved. Will

ensure Data Quality Metrics are under SLA. Will build and maintain data

quality metrics reporting.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering,

Telecommunications Engineering or a related field plus 3 years’

experience analyzing data and developing SQL queries.

Special Requirements:

1. Demonstrated expertise leveraging SQL programming language to

monitor, measure, and validate data, including transactional insurance

data experience.

2. Demonstrated expertise leveraging SQL 2005 and Microsoft Transact-SQL

language to engage in data warehousing and enterprise reporting

activities.

3. Demonstrated expertise writing and troubleshooting PL/SQL and ability

to optimize queries in all aspects of database programming on Oracle

PL/SQL that encapsulate SQL, including Stored Procedures, Functions,

Views, and Triggers.
