Job DescriptionThe Contract Trainer for United Training (UT) provides quality training on a variety of software applications and workplace skills. You will teach high level end-user classes to adult students. You will use our UT and partner materials to deliver full day and shorter durations sessions. Being a trainer for UT is a great fit for a fast learner who thrives on increasing their software expertise and the desire to share it every day in the classroom. You will need to prepare for teaching class and deliver in-person and virtual training in many applications using the content provided. Your outstanding presentation skills, coupled with technical ability and communication skills are the perfect combination for this job. What you will do:

• Deliver in person and virtually.
• Work with various virtual delivery platforms; Zoom, Teams, GoToWebinar, and others
• Travel to client sites within the United State to deliver training
• Work with the Training Manager on quality of training Basic Qualifications
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – All versions up to and including Office 365
  • Intermediate or advanced level with the following software: SharePoint and an understanding of its capabilities:
    • SharePoint and an understanding of its capabilities
    • MS Project, Access, Crystal Reports, and the Adobe suite is helpful
    • Office 365 – all applications and collaborative tools
    • Comfortable with public speaking in front of large groups of people
    • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation skills customer service agility
    • Ability to lift 30 pounds to transport laptops, books, etc.
    • Experience with teaching, public-speaking or training
    • Flexibility to work non-standard business hours or weekends if needed
    • Troubleshoot under pressure and learn technical information quickly
    • A valid Driver's license, vehicle and ability to travel Education And Experience
      • Bachelor's degree in education, or computer science preferred.
      • Previous teaching, computer and software experience preferred.
      • MCT or Microsoft Certifications are a plus!
