The Region BusinessDirector (RBD) is the field based cross-functionalleader, responsible for the delivery of all Region business goals through theleadership, direction, motivation and engagementof a varied team ofManagers, Sales Professionals and local Business partners TheRBD ? Neuroscience will: + Report to theNational Sales Director and be accountablefor the strategic leadership of a team of AreaBusiness Managers, Business Development Managers, SalesSpecialists, and other local Business Partners who callon a mixed customer base to support the use ofJanssen Neuroscience products within an assigned geographicalregion of multiple states.?? + Establish andexecute a fully-aligned Region Business plan that takes intoaccount the unique competitive marketplace, resource allocation, andbusiness trends to deliver compliant product growth and volume objectives. The plan mustalign to company, franchise, and brand strategies; deliver compliant productsales growth; and meet volume objectives while effectively addressing theunique needs of the local Region marketplace. + Fosterand actively cultivate collaborativerelationships across multiple functions, departments, and roles,as well as with external customers and business partners. + Be responsiblefor organization and talent development, including hiring newstaff, motivating, coaching, developing, and retaining a diverse teamof individuals who are technically able and consistently execute thebusiness plan strategies to deliver positive businessresults. He or she must also exercise first line managementcontrol over his or her team?s expenses, budgets, compensation,and all company policies. + Leverage multiple technologies; including PC,iPad and internet applications, tooptimize planning, efficiency, and coordination ofefforts. + Ensure efficientoperation of the region, drive innovation, the institution of bestpractices and effective problem-solving strategies, andapply resources to positively impact business outcomes whileconsidering the long-term implications of decisions. Qualifications Requirements + A Bachelor's degree isrequired; A Master?s degree in a related field or M.B.A. ispreferred. + Minimum 5 years of cross functional experience in keycommercial roles (ex. sales, marketing, strategic marketing,Access/Payer, Marketing, Analytics, Business Development etc.) + Prior direct people management / leadership experience + Ability to lead, develop, coach and engage highperforming, diverse teams. Very strong communications skills. + Strong demonstrated leadership skills consistent withthe J&J Leadership Imperatives (Connect / Shape / Deliver / Lead) . + Demonstrated commercial capabilities and successin prior commercial roles. Ability to maximize business opportunities andinsights. Strong ability to innovate, collaborate and deliver results. + The ability to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight / weekendtravel, is required.
