Days - 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Make a
meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners.
We seek a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients in a
skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills
while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's,
Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an
accredited program. Active California Occupational Therapy license
required to start the assignment. Current BLS certification from
American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred. (Client
may require BLS; verify prior to start.) Minimum 1 year of recent
experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or
rehabilitation setting preferred. Experience providing restorative
nursing, ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and
documentation in electronic medical records preferred. Ability to
perform safe patient transfers and work with patients who have
complex medical conditions, including cognitive impairment and
mobility limitations. Assignment Details Facility type: Skilled
Nursing Facility. Shift: Days. Shift hours: AM 8 (5x8 schedule).
Assignment length: 13 week assignment. Location: Fremont, CA.
