ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Sacramento, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/31/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work varied 8-hour day shifts with start times at 6:45 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:30 AM • Call responsibilities required including weeknight call Monday-Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Weekend call is 24-hour coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM • Holiday call required with 24-hour coverage • Call response time is 30 minutes • Must be flexible and dependable to cover call-outs and switch shifts as needed • Float between Main OR and OPSC facilities as necessary • Must have completed at least one travel assignment • Two years acute care operating room experience required • Must have orthopedic and bariatric surgery experience • Must be able to circulate in the operating room • Radiation badge required • Work with 4 operating rooms in Main OR and 4 in OPSC • Handle 10-20 cases per day on average • Common cases include robotics, orthopedics, bariatrics, general surgery, plastics, urology, GYN, podiatry, and ophthalmology • Use Cerner Surginet EMR system • Scrub colors and dress code provided • Unit-specific orientation based on experience • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This acute care hospital operates a comprehensive surgical services department with advanced operating room facilities.
