Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Sacramento, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,548 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of experience required License: Valid RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Trauma Level I experience Description: 1 year of experience required. Trauma Level I experience is required. Travelers are more successful with previous Trauma Level I experience. First-time travelers with 2 or more years of ER experience will be accepted. Experience with trauma level I adult and pediatric patients, homeless patients, high-volume psychiatric patients, sepsis, and stroke needed. 30% admission rate. ER sees 1000 visits per month. Pediatric admissions constitute 18-20%. Special Procedures/Unit Details: Fast Track - Rapid Care is included. No travelers intake; triage nurse protocols are followed. All areas involve rapid care assessments. No resuscitation room or triage for pediatric patients. Patients with PCA pumps may be assigned. Staff manage the PCA pumps. OBS holding area accommodates 30-40 patients. There are designated areas for MS Tele and COVID patients, with around 20 hallway patients under care. Facility holds Magnet designation. Skills: Level I Trauma Center experience required. Ability to start and maintain IVs is essential.
