A skilled healthcare professional is needed to provide tele monitoring and bedside care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) in Shingle Springs, CA. This contract role supports patient care through continuous cardiac rhythm monitoring and hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as delegated by the RN. Key Responsibilities: Monitor, generate, and interpret cardiac rhythm strips, reporting changes promptly to the healthcare team. Provide direct patient care including vital sign collection, specimen handling, and support for nutrition, hygiene, and mobility. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining adherence to policies and procedures. Educate patients clearly about medical tests and procedures to ease anxieties. Maintain and care for monitoring equipment. Mentor new nursing assistants and students, fostering a supportive learning environment. Qualifications and Experience: Current BLS certification and EKG certification (CCT or CRAT) required. CNA certification is highly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant healthcare experience. Ability to work under RN supervision and demonstrate sound clinical judgment. Familiarity with privacy and safety standards as per local and federal regulations. Schedule: Day shift, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (07:30 AM 4:00 PM).
