Job Description A hospital system in Orange County is currently seeking a licensed Neuro Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for a great opportunity with their team. About the Opportunity: Specialty: Neurology NP/PA Schedule: 7am-7pm, 7 on 7 off Patient Population: Adults Responsibilities: The Neuro Hospitalist APP will be responsible for: Providing in-hour neuro coverage on a shift-based schedule Collaborate closely with hospital nursing staff, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and outpatient OB/GYN providers Conduct neurological consultations and emergency interventions as needed Supervise and support care of patients admitted for neurological issues Round on patients pre and post neurosurgical procedures Ensure thorough documentation and clear communication in patient records and provider handoffs Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: New York State Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license Experience in neurology, acute care, or critical care Your privacy is important to us.
