Job Description:

Full-time inpatient psychiatrist Consultation/liaison for adult and adolescent ER and inpatients. Manage patients in Behavioral Intervention Support Program (BISP) in the ER. 24-hour coverage, 7x7 schedule or possible 14x14 schedule Multidisciplinary team: nurses, social workers (24 hr coverage in the ER), therapists. Teaching: psychiatry residents and medical students; participate in program administration, lectures, and faculty meetings. Lead quality improvement for psych services. $300K salary, W-2, health/dental/vision/retirement. $60K sign-on bonus, $20K relocation, PSLF-qualified, student loan principal repayment support. Board certified/eligible psychiatry, California license required. Vibrant college town of 100,000 about 1.5 hrs north of Sacramento voted Americas Place to Live by Forbes magazine.
