Facility: Highland Hospital Location: Oakland, California Start
Date: As scheduled (PRN basis) Credentialing Timeframe: days Shift
Details: Day Shift: 8am 5pm Call: 24-hour call (ends at 8am the
following morning) Type: PRN scheduled as needed Practice Overview
Highland Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center , is seeking a
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Radiologist for
PRN coverage. This role involves both scheduled daytime procedures
and 24-hour call coverage, with a strong emphasis on trauma-related
IR experience. Clinical Details Daytime Procedures: 5 6 per day
Call Expectations: Weekday call-back: 1x/week Weekend call-back:
2x/weekend Procedures Include: Biopsies Drainages Tunneled access
Hemorrhage control (trauma) Emergency GI, Gyn, and Urology IR
procedures Support Staff: Full team of RNs and techs during the
day; occasional second IR on site EMR: Epic Requirements Board
Certification: BE/BC in Interventional Radiology Licensure: Active
California Medical License Experience: Minimum 3 years
post-training IR experience Must be comfortable managing trauma
center IR cases Recent trauma IR experience required Why Highland
