Mammography Tech Location: Roseville, CA Agency: Olaro Pay: $2,961 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Description We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to join our women's imaging team. In this specialized role, you will perform high-quality mammographic imaging used to screen for and diagnose breast abnormalities, playing a critical role in early detection and patient education. Key responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients for mammograms, operating digital mammography equipment, ensuring optimal image quality, and adhering to strict radiation safety standards. You will also assist with breast ultrasound or biopsy procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and provide reassurance and guidance throughout the imaging experience. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to patient dignity and comfort, and the ability to communicate with empathy, particularly when working with patients who may be anxious or undergoing diagnostic follow-up for potential breast cancer.
