Job Description Nocturnists needed in the Central Valley CA area Join a Hospital employed Hospitalist group offering block schedules. They have 2 Nocturnists working evenings 7pm-7am in a 400 bed Level II trauma center. They have an open ICU with both Hospitalists and Pulmonary Critical Care physicians staffing the ICU. They work 16 shifts per month and see 16-18 patients per physician. They average 16-20 total admits per night split between two physicians. They receive a $100 bonus for every admission over 6 per night. The Hospitalists are given a 20k signing bonus and receive over $1,600.00 per shift, plus an additional 15k in bonus and admission bonuses totaling 39k, earning annually $321,000. The Hospital contributes 7% of annual income toward the Physicians Pension plan. They also offer a complete benefits package and relocation assistance. The practice is located less than one hour to Sacramento and 1.5 hours east of San Francisco.
