Position Overview: Location: Our Hospital in Oklahoma City Department: Mother-Baby Care Employment Type: Full-time (36 hours per week) Shift: Night shifts About Our Unit: We operate in a dynamic and energetic environment focused on Obstetrics, Mother-Baby care, and Well Newborn services, alongside a Post Women’s Surgical unit. Our facilities include: 40 Mother-Baby rooms 15 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) rooms 14 High-Risk Antepartum rooms An 8-bed OB Emergency Department 4 Labor and Birth Suites 4 Pre- and Post-Operative rooms 3 Operating Room suites (where we manage all our own cases) We also have dedicated full-time Lactation Consultants available for both inpatient and outpatient services. Our facility is recognized as the leading hospital for deliveries in Oklahoma City and ranks second within our network. Qualifications: Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program for registered professionals. Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure, adhering to all state nursing board regulations. Physical Requirements: The role necessitates the ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates should be prepared for prolonged periods of standing and walking during shifts, as well as the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed. Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) BLS (Basic Life Support) or completion of the course within 30 days of hire Additional unit-specific certifications as required, to be obtained within the designated timeframe.
