Association BLS Overview: Join our dedicated mental health team at
this Correctional Facility as a Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist (LMFT) . In this role, you’ll play a vital part in
supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of
incarcerated individuals through evidence-based therapeutic
interventions. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to
promote rehabilitation, resilience, and positive behavioral change
within a secure environment—all while receiving a competitive
compensation package. Responsibilities: Provide individual, group,
and family therapy using evidence-based modalities appropriate to
the correctional setting. Conduct comprehensive psychosocial
assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address
mental health needs, behavioral goals, and rehabilitation
objectives. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment
teams—including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and
custody staff—to coordinate holistic, person-centered care.
Facilitate therapy sessions that promote emotional regulation,
coping skills, communication, trauma processing, and interpersonal
growth. Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and
discharge summaries in accordance with facility and CDCR standards.
Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT)
meetings and contribute to case formulation, treatment planning,
and crisis intervention strategies. Support inmate transitions and
pre-release preparation by addressing reintegration challenges and
developing relapse-prevention and community reentry skills.
Maintain professional boundaries and ensure safety and security by
adhering to all California Department of Corrections and
Rehabilitation (CDCR) policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with
