Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/30/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) Overview The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies, trauma, or acute illness in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and effective communication under pressure. Responsibilities - Assess, triage, and implement appropriate nursing interventions for emergency patients. - Administer medications, monitor patient status, and perform procedures per clinical protocols. - Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, efficient care. - Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes. - Respond promptly to emergency situations including codes and trauma activations. Qualifications - Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. - BLS and ACLS required; PALS and TNCC preferred. - Minimum two (2) years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required. - ADN required; BSN preferred. Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
