  • A hospital near Sacramento is looking for experienced RRT for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, and CA Respiratory License.
  • Hospital near Sacramento seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist.
  • This role requires newborn intubation skills.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience required.
    • Active BLS and CA Respiratory License required.
    • Experienced in newborn intubation within the last 90 days.
    • Basic Respiratory Assessment & treatment skills necessary.
      • Schedule Information
      • Contract length: 13 weeks.
      • Scheduling by needs, Each shift consists of 7-15 RT's per shift.
      • Contract worker would never be the only RT present.
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (EOW).
      • No call, No standby required.
      • Shifts & Scheduling: Varies based on department needs.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Department: Respiratory Therapy (RT).
        • Treatments per day: 30 treatments per 12-hour shift.
        • Types of Patients: NICU trained, may float to other age populations.
        • Experience with intubation during deliveries required.
        • RT shifts always have a Shift Lead present.
        • There's always a RT Leader on-call M-F and available 24/7.
        • Scrub Color/Dress: Black.
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS, CRT via NBRC, NRP, PALS, RRT via NBRC preferred.
          • Need 2 supervisor references at submittal; 1 within last 12 months & 1 within 3 years.
          • Modules must be completed before start, taking roughly 3-4 hours (not billable).
          • Holiday RTO: Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays; final scheduling by unit managers.
